St. Paul Catholic Church and School
Park Ridge, Illinois

The St. Paul of the Cross parish campus consists of a church, two school buildings, rectory, and ministerial offices. St. Paul desired an environment that would promote ministerial outreach, enhance its sense of community, and be welcoming to parishioners and visitors alike. Increased desire for Catholic education among parish families also created the need for more classroom space and improved school facilities. A high priority included bringing older facilities into compliance with current fire and life safety codes while creating a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment.

A Facility Evaluation Study prepared the way for detailed Master Planning. The Master Plan includes additional school classrooms, remodeled school facilities to make the best use of existing space, a new Parish Center, and physical plant improvements. RuckPate prepared publicity materials and participated in parish events to assist the Parish with fundraising.

The recently completed Parish Center is easily accessible to young and old alike. The Parish wanted to incorporate all these improvements in a cost-effective way which would be sensitive to the beautiful Romanesque architecture of the original church and school.
